TiGRE at the 8th Biennial ECPR Conference on Regulatory Governance

The TiGRE consortium was nicely represented at the 8th Biennial ECPR Conference on Regulatory Governance, which was held online on 23-25 June 2021.

The conference, entitled "Regulatory Governance: Who Carries the Conversation?", tackled the present context where some well-established ‘certainties’ around democracy, rule of law, governance, public policy, compliance and accountability are no longer taken for granted.

In this context, Dr Monika Glavina (UAntwerpen) was happy to deliver a presentation, entitled "Trust and Compliance Theories",which focuses on three systematic literature reviews of theories explaining the relationship between trust and regulatory compliance.

In addition, Dr Moritz Kappler (Uni-Speyer) was glad to give insights on trust in cooperative regimes, in particular public-private partnerships. His presentation highlighted key conclusions from work conducted in TiGRE, in particular the deliverable D1.1 "Report on trust in government, politics, policy and regulatory governance". This report is available for download on the Outcomes webpage.
